What Will it Take?

How valuable is it for us today, to leave a better world for our children tomorrow?

How sincere are we in our intention and actions towards making the world more peaceful, abundant and equal?

What are we each willing to sacrifice to realise a world of unity, peace, beauty and understanding?

I don’t have the answers, but I sure would like to know.

What will it take?

What will it take for humanity to ‘wake up’ from the seeming slumber and actually take action towards what we know to be the truth?

When will we start collectively moving towards realising that truth?

Will the world ever change for the better?

Will the world ever know peace?

Has the world ever been at peace at one point in history?

What will be the meaning of our current generation’s story in the future?

How will we be remembered?

Have we made any difference to the way things are?

Have we only just scratched the surface in saving the world despite our good deeds, good intentions and prayers?

Is there still a chance to save the world from utter destruction?

Or are we fooling ourselves to think that the world’s salvation rests in our hands?

What will be the fate of mankind if we continue to live the way we do?

What will be the fate our children’s future if we continue to ignore that which we know is wrong with the world?

Do we feel so powerless that we all choose to collectively ignore the truth and live in pseudo-comfort?

Is it even possible to experience true joy and peace while fully aware of the injustice and inequality in the world?

What will be our fate and what will it take to realise a true collective humanity?

The Ebb and Flow: How To Create a Life of Balance as an Entrepreneur or Artist

Today I’m reflecting on what it means to live a life of ‘freedom’ as an entrepreneur or an artist. Ever hear that saying, ‘With great power comes great responsibility?” Well, I like to say, ‘with great freedom comes great responsibility’.  That's because being an entrepreneur places you in a unique position of freedom and self-determination. It gives you more power over your life than you would have if you were working for someone else.  It also means that you’re responsible for your time and productivity. You get to measure your own success by setting your own goals and standards for your work. So it can get pretty tricky trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t, and oftentimes you just have to learn through trial and error.   Over time, you learn to balance productivity and self-care.  Because as  important as it is to get out there and network, create strategies and do all that's necessary to bring your vision to life; it's equally importa...

BOOK REVIEW: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield

If you’re a writer, a singer, a poet, a model, or any type of creative or visionary then you simply HAVE to read this book. I devoured it in under two days, and it has completely changed my life.   In The War of Art, Steven Pressfield, (acclaimed author of The Legend of Bagger Vance), shares his insights on overcoming what he calls “resistance”.  What is resistance?  It's that small little voice inside your head and that emotion in your chest that prohibits you from practicing your art. It’s what writers call “the block” and public speakers know as “stage fright”, and so it goes.    Basically, resistance is what prohibits millions of people from following their dreams and sharing their gifts with the world, out of fear of being judged or ostracised or whatever. It is that barrage of excuses that stops millions of people from realizing their greatness for fear of failure.  It’s that little voice in your head that convinces you to go on Instagram and Y...

What is Breathwork? All You Need to Know About This Cutting-edge Practice

The term ‘breathwork’ is all the rage right now, with things like Kriya and Prana yoga becoming mainstream, not to mention the ever-popular Wim Hof breathing method . But, what is breathwork exactly?  Simply put, it’s a series of exercises, programs and techniques designed to enhance your conscious awareness of the breathing process (inhale and exhale) so you can get the most out of it.   Breathwork exercises work by promoting deep and focused breathing for a certain period of time. Most people perform breathwork techniques and exercises in order to improve their mental health, their spiritual well-being and even to strengthen the mind-body connection. Breathwork has also been shown to increase energy and promote a deep sense of calm and relaxation.  While there are many different forms of breathwork, it’s really all about conscious breathing. Most of us take breathing for granted and we don’t really consider the effects of breathing properly on our health. ...
